All Saints, Dovercourt
DOVERCOURT (All Saints) Dovercourt is, sadly, all cemented and pebble-dashed. It has a Norman nave with one of the north windows blocked, but is visible from outside the building, as well as from the inside. The chancel dates from the early 14th. century, but the north and south windows have been renewed. The north and south windows of the nave are a little more elaborate, and are of a slightly later period with flowing tracery is. The west tower, in the Perpendicular style, has diagonal buttresses and battlements. The Font which dates back to the 14th century, is octagonal, and has cusped panels of tracery (intersected and other) with quatrefoils &c. There is a Poor Box dated 1589, which is plain, square, and iron bound. There is also a mid 15th century Brass with a figure, about 2ft long.
